A guarantor, usually a parent or guardian, is a person over the age of 25, residing in the US, who agrees to be financially responsible if you are ever unable to fulfill the financial obligations of your housing license. If you are unable to provide a guarantor, a deposit in lieu of guarantor in the amount of $1,200 will be required, payable to your MYCSUSM Account.

LGBTQA This housing option creates opportunities for support, identity exploration, and community building for the LGBTQA community and those allies interested in supporting this community.

Terms and Conditions

Applicant represents all of the above information is true, complete and authorizes the verification of same by reasonable means. Any misrepresentation or omission may be cause for the rejection of this application and/or termination of this license agreement. Applicant further authorizes free exchange of information between California State University San Marcos, CSUSM Corporation, and COCM, including but not limited to the applicant's student status, academic records, judicial records, and financial records to be used to determine whether this applicant shall be approved or disapproved.

Applicant understands the application fee of $50 (per resident) and the licensing fee of $250.00 (per resident) are non-refundable and non-transferable. These fees are used to process the application of both primary and guarantor, as well as other administrative needs such as roommate matching software and preparation of move-in.

I give permission to release my contact information and roommate matching preferences to prospective roommates.

I understand that the $50 application fee must be paid at the time of application. My account will be charged the payment described above within 48hrs (2 business days) if a space is available and it has been offered it to me.

I understand that the $250 licensing fee must be paid at the time a license agreement is offered.
